Cross-Border Retail and Food Service Consulting

Andrew is a senior operator living in Toronto since moving from Manhattan in 2002.  With his focus on “People, Sales, Profits” he works with consumer, retail and food service brands on both sides of the border who share his belief in value creation through sustainable, profitable growth and customer centric improvements.

With a career anchored in “the store” and marked by professional growth and substantial accomplishments, Andrew’s expertise includes corporate and franchise models ranging from start-ups to brand leaders.  As an operator he has had public company divisional leadership responsibility for 800 locations, 3,000 people and $350 million.

As a consultant he led the integration and re-launch of The Source stores after its acquisition by Bell.

His ability to lead cross functional teams toward common yet complex goals, often in environments undergoing significant organizational and cultural change, has been served by his commitment to winning the “Hearts & Minds” of all stakeholders and his reputation as a passionate and tireless leader.

Andrew currently works with clients of all sizes including a major U.S. fashion retailer planning their first international expansion in Canada.  As both a senior operator and advisor, he worked with Venture Capital and Private Equity firms and their portfolio brands.

Ask him about “Connecting the dots” and his belief that “Changing the logo ain’t the answer.”
