I have been working as a Business Advisor for many years – and I can assure you that I have been successful in helping Clients in the private and public sectors grow their divisions and strengthen their business teams across Canada, the United States and Latin America.
During all of this time, business challenges have been the motivation to perform my assignments. I look at them not as difficulties, but as opportunities to provide rational solutions for my clients.
What is the secret to succeed as a business Advisor? My methodology is:
- Before any action, appraise the scenario that you are confronted with
- Analyze possible solutions, costs, and risks
- Estimate when the first measures adopted can bring reasonable results
- Discuss with your client possible solutions, actions to take place, and possibilities to succeed
I consider the procedures mentioned as the most important ones – and they must be considered before any action is taken or any client agreement is signed. The reason to work in this way lies in my professional ability to bring solutions on time, under the client’s budget, adding value to the business.
The client must feel that during the course of my work, that progress is being made, and significant gains can be measured. Clients are driven by increase in sales, profits, and cash flow.
Overall, our Clients want results in the short-term and mid-term and in many cases – they need a turnaround rapidly.
If I cannot contribute measurable solutions during my contract, I do not take the assignment.
The client’s satisfaction is my inspiration.
