Last night I went to a Toronto Maple Leafs game.

Enough said.

I’ve heard from others that they’re “re-building” whatever that means. Maybe you need to hit bottom before you start learning real lessons.

Oh ya (off topic) Check out Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares if you can. He’s probably the best turn-around consultant on prime time. Common themes:

    1. Simplify the menu
    2. Get rid of loser staff (quick)
2b Put good people in the right jobs.
    3. Use the best ingredients
    4. Adjust to the tastes of your customers.
    5. Communicate efficiently.
    6. Keep the place CLEAN!

    and lots more…

Seriously…the best boot camp type show any entreprenuer could benefit from.

V.Man thanks. The Leafs suck and have sucked forever. Management is to blame. They don’t know what they’re doing…but get away with it because it’s Toronto and they don’t have competition. I have a policy – no Leafs shirts or memorabilia in the office – worshippng losers is for losers.

Re Gordon Ramsay, thanks. I’d heard he’s great. At least the the Air Canada Center is clean.
