Extensive international business experience combined with a Bachelor of Social Science and an MBA, Tim Rooney has a solid foundation from which to teach people about the psychology of selling and negotiation.

Tim strongly believes that given the right environment, ordinary people can do extraordinary things.  His passion for bringing out the best in people, teams and company performance is clearly evident.

As a seasoned CEO Tim draws on decades of corporate success to help individuals & business owners accelerate their sales growth and build a sustainable competitive advantage.

Prior to taking the successful leap into the entrepreneurial world, Tim was President and CEO of a number of high-growth companies who were leaders in their respective markets. The companies he ran included working on three continents as President of Polygram formerly the #1 music Company in the world.

Early in his career as Group Managing Director he successfully ran and grew both organically & by acquisition Bromor Foods – a group of three acquired companies in the food industry who had to be melded into a single entity. With over 1000 employees and five decentralized manufacturing centres; under Tim’s leadership Bromor grew to be a market leader in both innovative new product development and smart media supported branding.

As CEO of a Canadian construction start-up, making an innovative & energy efficient wall system, Tim used his entrepreneurial skills to take this niche player to become the # 1 leader in North America, in a highly competitive and over-crowded market.

Prior to getting into business – Tim’s earlier work experience also included two years as a social worker in Africa.

His personable speaking style and coaching blends passion and a refreshing sense of humour which helps engage professionals at all levels. His rich stories and anecdotes of the values, principles and life lessons learned in business captivate both intimate and large audiences.

Tim is based in the Toronto area and is currently available for Short-Term engagements across Canada and internationally, advising in the following main areas:
