Jim is the founder and CEO of Boardroom Metrics.

An experienced CEO, consultant and Board member, Jim has worked with many organizations across a wide range of industries.

Honest, with a knack for simplifying things, Jim is known for calling things as he sees them. One of his well known observations – that “business is simple, it’s people who make it complicated” has been the basis for much of his corporate and consulting work.

Many years ago, Jim was exposed to the power of internet marketing by a forward thinking client. Since then he has been a constant experimenter. Jim’s first CEO blog is here.

The evolution of Boardroom Metrics – from one-person performance consulting shop into a unique talent and expertise platform – took a big step forward in 2010 with the incorporation of private business assessments and Accomplished Executives.

Frustrated with the inability of private business owners to live up to their dreams of ‘creating a valuable asset’ – Jim reinvented his approach to private business consulting – helping them fulfill their roles as owners, not operators.

In adding Accomplished Executives to Boardroom Metrics, Jim recognized the incredible amount of post-corporate and in-transition executive talent seeking an outlet for their skills and expertise.

Jim says his vision is a lot like building a real world version of a popular networking site – providing a unique platform where corporations and accomplished executives can connect to share remarkable expertise and opportunities.
